Vanilla Cream Cold Foam Nitro Cold Brew

Servings: 1
Preparation Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:

  • For the Nitro Cold Brew:
    • 1 cup cold brew coffee (store-bought or homemade)
    • 1 nitro canister (if using a nitro cold brew maker)
  • For the Vanilla Cream Cold Foam:
    • 1/4 cup heavy cream
    • 1 tablespoon vanilla syrup (adjust to taste)
    • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
    • Pinch of salt (optional, enhances flavor)

Equipment:

  • Cold brew coffee maker (NitroTapp)
  • Nitro cold brew dispenser with nitro charger (optional)
  • Milk frother or blender

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Nitro Cold Brew:

    • If you have a nitro cold brew maker (like NitroTapp), pour the cold brew coffee into the nitro cold brew dispenser and follow the manufacturer's instructions to charge it with a nitro canister. This process infuses the coffee with nitrogen, giving it a smooth, creamy texture and a cascading effect when poured.
    • If you don’t have a nitro cold brew maker, you can use regular cold brew coffee, though it won’t have the same texture or effect as nitro cold brew.
  2. Make the Vanilla Cream Cold Foam:

    • In a small mixing bowl, combine the heavy cream, vanilla syrup, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt.
    • Using a milk frother or a blender, whip the mixture until it becomes thick and frothy. The texture should be creamy and able to hold its shape slightly.
  3. Assemble the Drink:

    • Pour the nitro cold brew (or regular cold brew) into a tall glass, leaving some room at the top for the foam.
    • Gently spoon the vanilla cream cold foam on top of the coffee. The foam should float on the surface, creating a layered effect.
  4. Serve and Enjoy:

    • Serve immediately and enjoy the smooth, velvety texture of the nitro cold brew combined with the rich vanilla cream cold foam.

Caffeine Content:

Nitro cold brew is known for its strong caffeine content. On average, an 8-ounce serving of nitro cold brew contains approximately 180-240 mg of caffeine, making it significantly more potent than a standard cup of coffee. This is due to the higher concentration of coffee used in the brewing process and the nitrogen infusion, which can intensify the coffee’s natural flavors and caffeine impact.

Note: Due to its high caffeine content, nitro cold brew can provide a powerful energy boost, so it’s best enjoyed in moderation, especially for those sensitive to caffeine.
